Totally unnecessary loss of all my points at blackjack

Felt like bumping my points up a bit, so figured I'll play one hand of blackjack, and if I lose, I'll basically Martingale.

Took 24 of my 156 in, lost the hand; took 26 more, lost the hand; took 54, lost the hand; took the final 52, lost the hand.

Real nice.



At least I got to enjoy, what, 45 or 50 seconds of gambling?

You're right Stale, that was my bad. Guess I was greedy. Too easy to lose four hands in a row, you're much less likely to lose like eight in a row, so should have just tried to bump myself up 8 instead of 24!

Also, should have just brought all my points in to start -- because I wonder if having to keep reopening the blackjack (for it to "reload" my points) after I'd transferred them into the book each time sort of throws off what the odds would have been... Oh well.

Basically, I'm an idiot, end of story. But you know what? It's always gonna be like this as long as there's a casino in here. We need that SBR Casino Gamblers Anonymous thread!!! I need help! Help me! My name is Capybara and I have a problem!!! LOL

That casino is rig city. Im new to the forum so I thought I'd try my luck. Won 30 in 5 minutes & lost 60 in 2! I have better luck with the poker. Is there Texas hold'em on there? I didn't see it.

Don't play at the casino. It is rigged. I monitored my play the last month, and when only betting 1 point I won 48.7% of the time, and when I bet 10 or 20, My winning % was at 42.9%. This was after playing over 1000 hands at both lvls. So yeah, don't bet more then 1 point. haha

I wouldn't suggest trying to martingale the casino, but if you do, start smaller, as was mentioned. Even the way the odds are stacked against you, it's unlikely you'll lose 8 hands in a row (assuming you're playing intelligently).

Wow, eids, this is extreeeeemely interesting... I know I have had a "rigged" feeling from the get-go with this casino (even though I go in there regardless ), but those are very interesting cold, hard numbers -- thanks.

Sucks, because it's so fun... but will stop playing entirely if it's not a fair fight.

I took my 6 today and ran them up to 56 before I stopped. Will probably bet them all on MNF. The only way I ever win is playing the 3 hand table, and never betting more than 4 points per hand. 10 or more on a hand is almost a sure loser.

You're right, it is fun so I don't care if I waste the points.
