    Problems at Bodog Poker
Man these guys have me so pissed I had to register and post. You just don't treat people that way and get away with it.

Yesterday their software ejected a bunch of us in a sitandgo. By the time I got back in, about 20 minutes later, the game had continued, and the 3-4 of us who were kicked out were now crippled from folding blinds.

I didn't say a word, sh%t happens. Some of the other players were bitching.

Now today I get booted from a bigger satelite tourney, and this is EXACTLY how I explained it to the customer service.

I entered x tourney at 5:37, the table never popped up. I shut down the software and reentered, but it never popped up. I called your customer service but all I got was a message saying you were having technical difficulties.

I then repeatedly shut down my computer and rebooted, finally at 6:10 I was able to get back in, but the table was frozen. Finally I got through to customer service at 6:15 and asked for a refund. At this time I was able to start playing at my table.

He said no refund, there was only a problem for 4 minutes and all players were effected equally. I said that is not the case, I was unable to get in for 25 minutes, and when I did get in some players had more than double my chips.

So things were not equal, things were not wrong for just 4 minutes, just give me a refund and we will forget about it.

He refused, we argued, he then said the unthinkable, he couldn't help me because he couldn't get a reputable answer from me on what happened.

    REPUTABLE ANSWER!!!!!!

    Could I be any clearer??????

You want to accuse me of lieing when your software is the problem? Do you think I purposely didn't log in for 21 minutes as the tourney ran, just so I could get a refund?

And to further prove this lieing sack of sh%t was just a Bodog shill, he claimed it was just a short problem and was cleared up, well, of the nine players at my table 3 of them folded every hand until they ran out of chips. EVERY HAND all the way to the felt.

    What's that say?

One third of the players never could get back in.

    Now for the final insult.

I came back and won the whole frigging thing, even after being ejected by the software from my table on six more occasions, sometimes having to reload the software, sometimes having to reboot my computer.

I was so fuking mad evey time I even suspected a bluff I went all in.

When things finished I noted no credit was added to my account so called customer service. They said there was no record of me having played, and the final standings only show names for the other places, nothing in my place (first).

    NOTHING!

    Give me my money bodog.

    MoMentum,

If you can paste this in an email with your account ID we will ask the poker manager to look into the tourney.

Thanks Bill, wouldn't suprise me if you could get some action, after all, its so obvious this site is on the bodog payroll.

      Rating: Bodog A

Kind of a shame about the integrity issues here and at Bodog.

Anyway, they looked into the matter, and the conclusive evidence their software was a mess, reflected in the final results of the tourney not showing a finisher for first place, when the final hand showed me with the chip lead, caused them to cave and pay me.

Imagine, the final standings just showing a blank space for first place, and inititially they tried to defend that.

      LOL!

But this thread was not really about me getting paid, it was about the lies at Bodog, the lousy software, the poor customer service who refused to admit they had a problem, and the one third of the tourney entrants who took it in the as@ as a result.

      Terrible book.

Carry on. I've plenty more about this book but I'll save it for when they piss me off again.

momentum - regardless if SBR is on bodog payroll or not, which i don't know or care about, bill extended a service to you. you should realize that SBR is the best watchdog out there, regardless of the bodog situation. bodog resolved your issues, so i guess they aren't that bad afterall, eh? but, good luck getting your $ out, have you seen the bodog payout issues thread??? :-)

          Hi bitr-

Thanks for the reply and to address your points:

          1) The egregious cattle driving that occurs when a site sells itself to bad books cannot be overlooked simply because they offer a service, or that other sites are even worse. Using the words "best watchdog" appears to be incorrect, lesser of the evils is more appropriate.

          2) Credit can't be given to a book which concedes to fair play in the face of over whelming evidence (screenshot of final table showing my lead and leaderboard with blank space). Once again you are comparing very poor performance to even worse performance and rewarding it.

Yes Bodog is "that" bad, and is my by far my worst experience of the many poker sites and sportsbooks I've used.
