*WARNING* must read - gambling site fraud

I was with a online gambling site for a while, and tried to make a deposit with them once again, it was probably been about 3 weeks since my last deposit.

I called them and told them I was having troubles and transferred me to the manager, and told me they blocked my account from anymore deposits because the site are saying I owe them about $4,000 from previous deposits made about 8 months ago they are saying wasn't charged to my card.

So I told them to **** off basically! The thing is I can't even tell if it happened or not because the site doesn't allow you to check the account 30 days in the past.

I tried to check my credit card statements but it wsa so long ago I don't even have them anymore.

But I told them, even if I did make the payment, how in the hell do I know, and even though i'm sure I did make the payment because I would have known this 8 months ago when keeping track of my stamement they have no right to do this.



Can you believe this?

I think i'm just going to stop my credit cards so they can't try to get payment.

I couldn't help but be intrigued with this matter. As this has happened to me before.

They claimed to be missing some of my deposit I made about 1 year after. Luckily for me my credit card # changed, and the processor couldn't locate it.

Don't worry, they can't do anything about it, unless you have room on your card, and the card details are the same.

Just cancel your card, and tell them to screw themselves.

Oh also, there is still a good chance you will be billed for this, but you can call your card company and tell them you didn't make the charge.

i have no idea what are you complaining about...there are plenty of good books out there. since you owe them money, just cancel your credit card and open an account somewhere else. 5dimes is pretty good.

I don't get the big warning either... You don't have money there right? Either you came up on them a couple dimes or they are so ****ed up that they can't keep track of shit right... Either way to do you want to play there again?

If you make a lot of purchases with your cards both online and off you should "lose" them about once a year.

yeah what a bunch of bullsh*t because he can call the cc company and they can look back as far as he wants and tell him... 8 months ago for them is not that long and can be done in minutes with a phone call....

Exactly....even if their processor wont give them info Master Card/ **** have a 1-800 # and as long as you have YOUR merchant code of the card # you can have any transaction inspected for a 5yr time span.

If YOU did the charge back then you shouldn't be crying....JMO
