pen and paper in a copy book that i throw out after 2 months when it's full, then go buy another copy book and start over.

i have 1 copy book for bets ONLY

and i have 1 copy book for my balances..

that's it. no spreadsheets, no past betting records. no need for this.. i know what i'm up or down by just doing my balances.. i have a column of all my money sent and how much to a book. and another column of how much i have collected from my 1st day offshore, etc.. i have it all in a safe place.

i don't use computers and spreadsheets, not only because i am old school, but because i don't know how to freakin use it..

pen and paper, started to do a spreadsheet along with it but i'm not always at my computer when i make bets. Then my computer crashed one day and i didn't have it backed up. so now i'm just pen and paper in an accounting journal.

I remember the days when I had a 5 subject notebook to keep track of the scores from the previous 5 years! (used to get thrown out before 5 years was up, due to heavy losses)

also slicker, i dont use a computer or spreadsheet because i don't use stats. i need to write NOTHING. i don't care what stats say. a guy's ERA at home on tues aft when its sunny and under 72 degrees playing vs a team that is 21-49 vs east teams after coming off a road trip after playing against 2 teams with under .500 records.. blah blah blah blah blah..

that info is useless. you hear me slicker.. fukkin useless. that's why there's a line there.. it is already applied into the line. i laugh at people that say, i love bos because they are playing good ball and are 21-4 in their last 25 home games and 12-1 vs lefties.. yeah but that line is -340.. LOL. vegas already knows this. you won't slip one by them slicker. i laugh how people keep trying this and think they are ahead of the game.. they bet a team at -230 thinking it's a steal, and line closes at -205.. LOL

Well from what i see here many guys are still trying to predict the outcome of games and Nicky was just pointing to throw stats out and beat closing lines and many here still dont understand that concept. Yes it is obvious to beat closing lines but why are so many here still talking about anything but that?
