I dunno Bread. at the end of the day having Robyn is a helluva lot better than the 3k you didn't win. Gonna be tough to find many that will shed a tear for ya with a peach like that in your life.

Now had you been rolled for the 3K we could squeeze out a tear or two. You need to add pain and suffering to get the emotions flowing here. Best your gonna get from the way you describe the story is a few Dumb Ass comments maybe if someone is seriously sympathetic you might get a tough luck bro. Amby and Jello might be your best bet.

So, as per your own suggestion when you look at this in perspective all you really lost was $25. Tunnel vision is often better than eyes of grandeur. Chances are good you wouldn't have gone all the way and it probably would have only been false hope for maybe another couple of weeks. Disappointment would have eventually happened. this way it's over, no more anticipation.

Thus, the existence of this thread, you see. Tracking my screw-up to see how it would've turned out.

And no, I didn't just lose $25. There were 10 people left out of a starting block of 116. There was an 8% chance of me making this far (if you take brains and savvy out of the equation). I put effort, time and emotion into this every week. Were it a mere $25 loss, I wouldn't have started a thread about it.

I don't start threads when my power bill is $25 more than I had expected. I don't start threads when I spend $175 at the strip club, instead of the $150 budget I had planned.

It is because of this thread that I feel we have in some small way made great stride in what one day we will look back on and say, yeas that was the day. This thread has begun what will ultimately end up being a true SBR friendship.

Pittsburgh has murdered over a fourth of the entries in my survivor in both weeks they lost to the Chiefs and Raiders. No telling how many more were caught with their pants down last night. One team, one nightmare. Question? How often do these things make it to the Super Bowl? This is as long as I have ever been in one.

That's a tough break and can be very frustrating. Too bad they can't let you make a pick before the game starts even though there is a Thursday game. Did you ask if you can make pick since your game hasn't started? We all have done things like that. Although easier said than done, you can't beat yourself up over it and compound the problem. Try to enjoy the weekend. We get real busy with stuff and these things can sneak up on you. I can feel your frustration.
