    SBR Book Ratings and Such
I'm going through looking for a book that offers a certain product. In doing so I come across TradebetX.com. They are rated a c+. I go to their webpage and get this

November 18th 2008: It is with regret that the owners of TradeSports.com decided to cease the operation of the TradeSports platform.

We would like to thank you for your custom and support since we acquired the TradeSports business in 2007. We would also like to thank our business partners for all their help throughout our short ownership of TradeSports.com.

You would think that someone would go through all of this every quarter to make sure everything is up and running.

#1 is tradesports.com the same as tradetx.com? If so, don't you people stay on top of things?

Looking through the entire list of cish books, there are a lot more that don't come up.

    Maybe about 4 others.

Once again, do you guys actualy go through the list and see if they still do business and changed their website? It is obvious you don't. This being the case, how valid could your rating actually be if you have c rated books that have been shut down for a year, still up on your ratings guide?

Sbr, I just checked Catalina and Casinoandsportsbook. They don't work but you have them a c's.

We are around 8-10 that don't work/populate the links but you have current ratings on them. Keep up the good work!

It seems like a bad practice.

That said, where's the harm? It's not like anyone can get screwed by this omission/failure.

No harm but it is like a newspaper publishing food reviews for restaurants that have been closed for over 1 year. After going through mostly the entire list of c'ish books there were about 13 or so that weren't up and running based off of the sbr links.
