    All Gamblers, Cappers, and Degenerates!!
Tonites NBA card looks very good for playing unders. There has been some lost value since the lines have been released last nite. One even moved 3 points in my direction. I still think there is some room still left on this card for the UNDER's Tonite. Take a look and see for yourself!

The one that jumped out at me when the lines opened was actually an over. POR/IND over 191. I booked it last night and it's moved 2 points in my favor, but I expect it to settle back down right around the opener. Just a gut feeling on this one, which is all I do with NBA and it's been serving me well. I expect a game played to 100.

Pass on totals, impossible to predict game flow. I like Nets +2.5

I also very rarely play totals, but I am dabbling more now. I would love to learn more from someone how to make my performance more consistent when betting totals.

I'm the exact opposite. Much prefer to play totals than spreads. I think it's way easier to predict game flow than who is going to score garbage points at the end of a game, or who is going to make/miss free throws. Unless the line is 3 points or less, I don't much like playing sides on NBA.

Looking over the NBA card and I feel like it really is gonna be a under nite for more games than the over. I feel if you play every under on the board you will be alright. Just my thoughts. I am not on all the unders, but quite a few.

203 is were I got it. I got the same one as you too, but got beat on that number. I am in it a full point lower. Oh, well..Win some lose some.

I will never be mistaken at being the best in the industry at beating the closing number, but I still try and get pretty pumped when I do beat the final number by a few points.

Yea, you did good on Indy! I was scratching my ass on that one and ultimately passed when I missed the number. The best I could have got I think was +5.5 when I was thinking and scratching my ass. Of course as you well know beating the number is not the end all be all part of the game. If your pick stinks you are a loser at many numbers. When I am right about the game it usually is not that close. I got beat on a number last nite dallas/pho under 214 by 2pts and cashed by around 11pts I think. I loved the early number and bit, but the betting public took it to 216 based on the teams history rather than there recent play. I was buying 214 under were the overs were like.... "hey I beat the number by 2 pts" at the end it was a definite loser.

Beating the number when it's close and you would have lost otherwise is very rewarding and it also helps are win% and unit gains throughout the year.

Earlier in this post I wasn't trying to trivialize beating the number because over the course of the season it can have a big effect. There are many people that can pick 48% winners, but not many that can pick 53% winners and sometimes beating the number consistently throughout the season might be the difference.
