    First snowstorm of the season
Out in the eye of the storm to pick up a relative at the hospital. Left early not knowing what traffic would be like. Had some time to kill...was going to do a video but had second thoughts since the camera isn't waterproof. Quick pic outside then back to a Tim Horton's coffee.

Maybe a vid later when it's time to deal with the snow on the driveway. This isn't Toronto.

Peepers, a snowblower is a great investment. Save your back.

Are you an Aussie, teaserpleaser? They are fascinated by snow. On the odd occasion it snows there, it melts on contact. No time to play in it.

It's raining here. Cold but not enough to freeze everything.

I saw a few flakes out the window a couple days ago but nothing stuck. I have heard reports of snow just a little ways north.

              It is closing in.

I am so glad we got mostly rain and not the snow and ice the northern part of my state got yesterday. We would have gotten pounded with snow if we got what Iowa got last night.

Yeah, it's insane out there. Can't remember last time it was this bad. Only time I'm opening the door is to let the dog out. He loves this stuff.

The best thing about the winter in Boston, is once you shovel out, you leave a cone or a chair in the spot. You mark your territory. You come back and someone took your spot you can do whatever the hell you want to that car, and nothing will happen to you.

Bored, snow not about to end anytime soon.

No carrot for use as a schnozz. Lamest snowman's head you'll ever see.

I woke up today to a dusting of snow on the ground for the first time this winter. Prolly won't be riding my bike to my meeting tonight.

Yes, you should use the car. Good for the battery.

Dusting eh. You don't experience snow like over here, that's why if it's a major dump you call in the army, we deal with it. Today's paper has the total at 20cm, don't know if more fell after they went to print. I was out after midnight blowing it, wanted to wait for it to end to avoid hauling out the snowblower twice. Long driveway, saved the back.

I'm dreaming of short skirts walking the sidewalks. Months away.

Mudcat, that was the butt of jokes around here for a long time. The mayor would like to take back that decision but prolly won't admit it.

Few flurries here. The snow crew was out in full force last night, did a good job on the streets. Some sidewalks haven't been done yet.

Walk, Nicky, walk. You posted somewhere about trying to lose weight. Instead of starving yourself, try to walk two hours every day. Couple months go by you'll notice a difference. That's all I've been doing the past three months...and junk food fills my belly. Not much more body fat than SBR resident skeletons Sammy and Herman.
