I used to love Hacksaw Jim Duggan and his 2 X 4. Maybe that's where your assailants got the idea to attack you with 2 by 4s at Freehold JJ?

I alos used to love "The Rockers" and "TheBushwhackers" also...

My favorites were The Great Kabuki and Mr. Perfect.

I liked the Great Kabuki because of the green smoke that he seemingly blew out of his mouth. I used to think that was diabolical.

I liked Mr. Perfect because he liked to explain to Mean Gene Okurland why he was called Mr. Perfect. "Ya know Mean Gene everyone wants to know why they call me Mr. Perfect" would be the start to every post-match conversation on the TBS Superstation.

The Great Kabuki is a blast from the past Ebone. What was his managers name again though, because I can't remember?

I'm mistaken. The announcer in the old days of the Superstation was Gordon Solie, not Mean Gene Okurland. Gordon Solie used to say before they signed off, "This is Gordon Solie saying 'So long from the Peach State of Georgia'"

I can't believe I had forgotten about Gordon Solie. That's awful!

Don't worry about forgetting that Ebone. Hell, I forgot the Great Kabuki's manager. Now after you mentioned Gordon Solie I remember that Kabuki was part of the NWA at the time, and not part of the WWF. With that being said Mr.Fugii couldn't have been his manager.

It took a little searching Ebone, but I found out who it was. It was Gary Hart. Believe it or not that was driving me crazy all damn day.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned Rowdy Roddy Piper. Was the perfect counter to Hulk Hogan in the WWF glory days. Became so popular Vince McMahon had to convert him to a good guy, which ruined his natural ability to instigate and insult everyone.

Other favorites from the 1980s would be Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorf and Cowboy Bob Orton. Orndorf used to use a piledriver as his finishing move and I can't believe he could do that without snapping the other guy's neck. He used to leap in the air on that move. I saw on a show how they do it to avoid injury. It's on the guy getting drilled to move his hands, but not much room for error.

I also liked Larry Zabisco, but he faded away after leaving the WWF in the early 1980s.
