James Keenan will be here in Santa Barbara at Whole Foods selling and autographing his Wine bottles from his Winery this Tuesday. I already own a case of them and going to be getting another one. He will be here at 5pm at Whole Foods! See you there!

#3I am a huge fan of Maynard. We have a lot of the same beliefs. I have spent over 1k on his wine, I have some that he has only made 100 bottles of.. He knows every time he comes here, I am good for a few hundred... He is the man!המוסד

#8Originally posted by flyingilliniHe knows me, every time he comes, I buy a case and he tells me " That is how you do it" Everyone usually just buys 1 or two bottles. I have 5 of them personalized to me which I asked him to do. I spend enough money with him, plus there is never a big crowd here when he comes. It is very cool every time he comes. I have some bottles with the M and some with his name... He has limited edition ones where only a certain # are made for 70-100 per bottle but the average ones are 30 a bottle... I get it because of him, I actually busted a couple of the bottles and the wine is not that good but who cares it supporting his winery! If you want me to get you one let me know..
Stop supporting his winery and force him to get into the studio. I need a new Tool album soon. It's been too long...Comment -

#10Illini, you love the guy's music so you buy his wine? Not sure I can make that connection. Answer my PM, by the way.
Personally, I thought Tool were terrific at first, but their music became just self-indulgent wankery after Aenima. Not tight enough songs, they need an editing voice badly... I like 10-minute songs, but the 10 minutes have to all make sense and not just be filler and f--king around.
Not enough musical range -- all their tunes use essentially the same chord progressions. They are a good band but limited. There are a lot of better (but lesser known of course) bands mining that territory.Comment -

the only negative I have about them is this past tour being almost identical to the last one minus a couple songs switched up.
not to sure I've heard another band as tight as them, maybe you could enlighten me.
list some of these band that are mining the territory so I can check it out for mysself.Comment -
