find it hard to believe he only made 100,000$. he easily made over a million, he was getting 2k from the mob per winner (was probably more like 10k) plus all the money he was betting individually, theres no way he only made 25k a year NO WAY. I believe Donaghy after learning about the FBI Investigation. I think he regretted doing it after the mob got involved.

I don't find it hard to believe that you could hit 75% just by knowing the memos that NBA sent refs (Kobe defenders need fouls called) and chatter among referees (Iverson is a nitwit). Also the story about Isiah Thomas (I think it was) signing memorabilia for a referees kid. If it's technically supposed to be 50% without knowing that information, surely hitting 75% by knowing inside information does not seem unlikely, especially over around 100 games.

i will be reading his book as well. whether it's horseshit hogwash will be determined, but it's worth checking out regardless. he seemed upstanding enough in the interview, and never once mentioned the book, at least that they aired.
