I can only imagine how many more bets I would win with a second monitor. Very good tip, Fish.

I think MANY do not understand the value of constantly monitoring lines.
With a FREE service such as SBRLINES right here at SBR, this is easy for everyone that posts here.

this is true especially for the live betting I like to have more than one screen to compare the prices at more than one site

Did you know you can increase your resolution and fit more on your screen? Did you also know that you can open multiple instances of your favorite browser and size them to display simultaneously? Then you don't even need a second monitor!!!! How much money did I just save you guys?!? Seriously!!
Perhaps, I should start a new thread in the Think Tank about this...
On second thought, I'd be a worthless douchebag if I did that.

Just get a 24inch monitor and have the pages you need spread out. If you really need 2 monitors than I hope you are betting a minumum of $3000 per play.
For the stocks and fx markets though, 2 screens is a must but for odds, just use 1 big screen.

Of course the faster the line service the better, this is obvious.
For the majority though here at SBR, SBRLINES will fill their needs.
Watching line movements becomes an art rather then a science for the seasoned veteran sportsbettor.
By the way, and I know for some this is not fast enough, but Matchbook lines on the SBR free service change in 15 seconds or less.
Again, the monitors one has the better and if you have more then two you can just have one set to Matchbook, as I almost always do personally.
Hope you all had a good day yesterday..........hit them hard on this end yesterday, going 5-0 in actual NFL bets(I'm 8-0 in the weekend shootout contest)
and drilled quite a few scalps/middles.
Hope we all make money on the MNF game this evening.
Best wishes gang,
FH

Basically line services are only needed for guys who play steams or arbs..
and 15 secs delay means it is 100% useless for this purpose.
You are way better off monitoring Pinny dynamics, and sometimes manually refreshing them during crunch times, + having MB ready in another window to compare the odds fast.
An experienced guy can do all this much faster than 15 seconds.
And for the average forum user here, what is the point in monitoring sbr lines?
Average bettors don't have many outs, it is prolly faster for them to just check the price on the 2-3 books they have funded...after all it is real time there/no errors.

As stated, obviously the faster the line service the better.
However, make no mistake about it, even the free 15 second delay services provide ample oppurtunity for steams and/or arbs...........for the simple fact many, many offshore books are very slow to move numbers.

Give me a break, you dick-heads are arguing over size and number of monitors?
"The color blue is better than red"
"oh no is isn't, purple is"
why not argue over who has the prettier dress, girls?

Agreed. One on sports insights at all times, the other on your various books. I actually need a third most of the time but haven't pulled the trigger yet, holding out for an after Christmas deal on a 24" flatscreen. And I'm VERY 'small time,' fwiw.

I agree. I have triple monitors (I'm a programmer, not necessarily for sports betting) and I feel crippled working on any arduous task at another computer with only one monitor.
For most heavy computer users, you won't regret making the switch to dual monitors.

FHISHHEAD LET ME ASK YOU A QUESTION THAT I CANT GET AN ANSWER TO.I ASKED RICK FROM SPORTS OPTION AND THIS F-CKING GUY KEEPS AVOIDING MY QUESTION.
IF A LINE SERVICE SELLS THERE LINES TO SPORTSBOOKS HOW ARE YOU EVER GOING TO GET A BETTER LINE SPORTSBOOKS MOVE THE NUMBERS BEFORE YOU CAN EVEN PUNCH YOUR TICKET.SPORTS SERVICES ARE A WASTE OF GOOD MONEY YOU ARE NEVER GOING TO GET THE JUMP ON LINE MOVES OVER A SPORTSBOOK AS LONG AS THE SPORTS SERVICES ARE SELLING THERE LINES TO THE VERY SAME SORTSBOOK YOUR PLAYING AT
YOUR NEVER GOING TO BEAT A SPORTSBOOK TO LINE MOVES SO F-CK READING THE LINES THEY ARE ALWAYS ONE STEP AHEAD OF YOU
NEW ORLEANS WENT FROM 7 TO 9 1/2 THIS WEEK HOW DID THAT LINE MOVE WORK OUT.LINE MOVES ARE FOR SUCKERS
