Sam, that was the best game plan all season long with maybe the exception of the Virginia Tech game. Alabama has the potential to walk to an easy National Title. I realize they were on a mission against Florida but once you have shown that kind of dominance as long as you control the mental aspect of taking it for granted you can do it again.

This is the begining of a very long run for Bama I am affraid. They will be THE TEAM to beat in the SEC and most likely the nation for several years to come. This isn't like a couple years ago when LSU won it all, Bama has things in place to sustain.

It will be a challenge to keep them focused. If the BCS title game was next week, I'd say it would be tough to bring the same level of effort again, but the layoff should help get the emotions back down to earth.

I think Alabama is going to be very good for a long time as long as Saban stays there. I sure don't think he would leave there now since his players are there in Alabama.

Texas is a very one dimentional team. Alabama is not. Texas has no running game at all. Neither did Florida, and look what happened to them. McCoy looked terrible last night, and will look terrible against a great 'Bama defense. The SEC is a much better conference than the Big 12. Once again, Texas proved that it can not score a lot against teams with good defenses. Alabama's defense is as good as anyones that Texas has faced. Alabama can score against very good defenses. Texas is in for a long night.
