Talking to my friend Rob during my lunch time, the topic flourished along with the ideas the both of us have. I, on my side, believe of myself as a christian but it's not that I want you all believe I fully aware of all the prophecies in the book of Revelations because I do not have them very clear, all as a matter of not reading the Bible thoroughly. On the other hand we have Rob who is a full Adventist of the 7th day, and catholic fellow in the past, very into his religion.
He made me realize I live in a cave in Mars (or basically just sleep and work) and started our conversation with what is happening in the world right now, Obama backing up Israel against their conflict with Iran and therefore fighting against Russia (please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong), comparing the timeline the previous World wars had and due to the fact that warfare technology has grown to an outstanding level made us think of the possibility Mayans could actually be close (if not totally accurate) about their predictions on 2012.
As the conversation about the discoveries and inventions we went into the religious side of it and started filtering it through the Revelations made in the bible, the 4 riders, the mark on the sky, Jesus coming back to Earth, 44000 fellahs disappearing, atmosphere turned into fire, etc... 3 years from now will not suffice for all this since after the chase, all that is left on Earth will suffer 7 years before doomsday, or that's what we believe at least.
Just felt like sharing a summary of the conversation looking forward to reading opinions about what will happen if anything happens at all.
