Unfortunately not in Cali. I am a southerner! ALABAMA! Roll Tide. I got to visit California on business this past January. Landed at LAX and stayed at the Marriot in Woodland Hills. Very nice place. Love the weather and the food. It was winter in Cali, but much like our Spring time. Hi around 75-80 degrees everyday.

I'll do it! Woodland Hills was a very nice place to stay. I am an insurance agent that met other agents from the company that were local and got to hangout with them. I got to see as much as you really can in a week. The mall in woodland hills was huge compared to what we have.

The Cali lifestyle was a nice change of pace from the boredum and dredgery of the southern lifestyle. People are way different there. I fit in very well with the locals. However, they still liked to laugh at me because of the way I talk. The funny thing is I am not that bad compared to other Alabamians. I am college educated. I didn't marry my sister or cousin and can sometimes string sentences together.

One of my Clients lives in Carpenteria, I have to go there two times a week. I live a few miles away, here in Santa Barbara. It is basically the same area but Carpenteria is much cheaper to live. I am a devoted (converted) Lutheran. I have heard of them, they are a godsend!
