The talking heads are what they are. I still watch. Good last minute info sometimes, and certain guys know a lot. The actual picks are meaningless, they don't go against a spread.

Ok poker dummy. Thanks for the constructive criticism. It's always cool when other posters give you a heads up on more efficient and informative websites and strategies. That way we all have more options to look at when we are capping games and watching for scores and feedback.

Thanks bud for that list of faster and more thorough score listing alternatives.

With the exit of Harold Reynolds, no one on Baseball Tonight has the slightest clue about what they're talking about. They're still stuck on Batting Averages and RBI's while sharp sports fans have moved on to OPS and WHIP etc.

I watch espn but not to help me cap... I watch it for entertainment (because I truly like sports) and to see highlights etc...

espn is far from perfect but they're the best option available as far as sports tv goes... (for all sports)

It's nice in Canada because we have 3 major sports networks to choose from... TSN, Sportsnet, the Score.

ESPN has the best college basketball and football coverage. Sportscenter is great for scores and highlights.

ESPN network here is pretty good actually, but I agree sometimes they're too much talk less sports, Sportscenter show is the exception. Now, the latino Foxsports network is another thing, they fool around too much for my liking.

the score in canada is best network on the planet from a gambling perspective. the spread is updated in real time on a ticker at the bottom of the screen , injuries are updated and they have starting goalies in hockey . Unlike espn they aren't afraid to actually talk about the point spread

ESPN is background noise, but it can be good to get a feel for the CV. It can help with figuring out what the public is thinking. It's good to get inside their heads.

I like to hear what they say and then bet against them sometimes because they sure don't know what they are talking about at times. I sometimes scratch my head at what they say.
