I suck at the NBA but this is my strongest play in years, I had Nets one time this year had em +15 1/2 and they were tied at halftime and I still lost, this team is just a record booster for the Mavs, the Nets just fired their coach and lost to the Lakers by 29, this team is in absolute shambles right now how are they gonna pull it together to beat one of the NBA's best teams when they cant even beat the Twolves

I haven't played the ML for the Nets yet this year. But after losing 17 in a row they are bound to hit one eventually. SO I haven't lost any yet, but starting tonight I will be playing them on ML from here on out!

If Nets lose this game they set record for "most losses in a row to open season" They have already tied it at 17L.

knowing that yall should expect supreme effort from the Nets. Remember "home is were role players thrive."

All that said.. Dallas wins, and maybe double digits.

Dallas has nothing to look forward to, since they play Grizzles Friday. Also no team wants to be the first to lose to the Nets. So its the reverse for the Mavs, as they are pumped to help Nets continue its "road to futility." Instead of like the Suns, who didnt give a damn about last nite, against the Knicks.

I do think the Nets are very close to winning a game it just aint gonna come against a top team, they play Charlotte at home and then NY after this, will probably win one of those 2 (of course if they lost them both I wouldnt be too shocked either)

Once again, betting trends and general trends stop people from making money. Would someone who's passing on this please use the actual matchup between the teams to justify their reasoning? If betting were non-existent and money had no bearing on this game, EVERYBODY would pick Dallas to win. It's a shame.

Situational plays are a great way to cap in all sports, especially NBA.

If you want some matchups:

Nets have no one to guard Dirk, and Dampier should matchup well with Lopez. The biggest mismatch is the bench were Mavs bring in J Terry, and Nets bring irrelevancy. Nets starters should be backups, or not in the league(Josh Boone).

Also Nets have interim( getting fired at end of season) coaches, So they will run no plays, and opt for a run and gun style. Problem is they dont have the horses. No three point threats when the paint is locked up either. I like the Nets rotation at the guard position, but the Forwards are atrocious excluding Lopez.

Nets havent played in a close game all season, and I dont see why they would tonight.

I really like Mavs - 7 here, they are clearly a superior team, they had a night off, and wont play down to their opponent, not to mention J Kidd back in NJ.

Nets have to win sooner or later, i just really dont see it happening today. So instead of taking Mavs - 300, with horrible value, you might as well take them -7 at -110.

Or even Parlay it with a College Basketball ML, and drop the spread on the Mavs.

Like MAVS - 4 and UCONN ML.

Nets have only scored 90+ points six times this season. Against (@Sac, NYK, @Phi, Den, @Wash, Orlando, @Minny)

I think the Nets have stopped trying even though they are looking at setting a record for futility.

The hidden factor will be the lack of fans in the stands = no motivation

But I'm not betting this game, b/c of the aura of bad karma clouding this game.

Playing the Cavs and the Nets tonight. When I see that the home team only has about 30-35% of the action and the line isn't moving I always get on board, one of the more profitable spots in sports betting IMO. One site had some numbers on this type of situation to back it up, have to dig around and see if I can find it.
