Visited Iowa for the first time in the summer of 2008 and must say I was pleasantly surprised at the overall beauty of the landscape.

Looking forward to my return in the near future.

In all seriousness, I'm from Iowa and currently live there. Wouldn't consider Iowa that great of a place to live, but I've lived in and visited far worse.

Do I want to die here? **** no! Would I come here for vacation? **** no! Is it that bad? As long as you can stay entertained with less, it's not really a bad place.

Now if you really want to visit someplace shitty, try Missouri or Nebraska. It's a toss up between which is the ass-hole of the country and which is the choad. Iowa probably ranks close to nutsack sweat, but I could just be biased.
