What a shock, another player retires and comes out of retierment to play. At least his was only a few days of being retired to come back.
1 year, 1.3 million to play for 76ers.

What a waste of time. I guess the 1.3 is worth it though. He as well as the team won't do shit this year.

A steal for the sixers. They will make that back in jersey sales right?
We'll see if he has anything left. He either lights it up or will be retired for real in 68 games.

They couldn't do any worse but the one thing they do already have is small scoring guards.
NY lost a 2011 championship with their most recent mistakes IMO. They could have had an all star PG on the cheap with Jennings and signed James and Wade/Bosh or even more. The Yankees have shown you can overspend in that market and be ok.

Dozier's right! $$ Ed Snider $$ made this decision by telling Ed the GM we suck already so WTF? 10,000 fannies in the stands won't do it, AI's time here along with pitchman Pat Croce was the only time in all my years that they sold out the place regularly. My son and his posse (in honor of AI) just got tickets a few minutes ago for the Denver game. Might sell out first game, expect 15,000 average for year if AI has anything left in the tank? Basic math, say 5000 X $50 = 250,000 X say 30 games = 7.5 million plus like Dozier said add in the jersey sales? Mr. Snider likes it!
PS Win or lose there will be the party after the game at Marvin Harrison's bar in N. Philly. Nothing racist but unless your completely wigged out no caucasians will be let in!
PSS All weapons must be checked in at the door! NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Thank you!

I was so glad to see him leave here 3 years ago. I was so sick of his BS leading up to his departure. Good move for the Sixers as it will put a few more fans in the seats plus he's the best player available to replace Lou Williams. But what happens when Williams returns? I'm sure they talked about it. I just hope we don't get all the AI drama 2 months from now when he comes back. I might have to go to a game or two this year now.
I kinda was looking forward to seeing Jrue Holiday for awhile. He showed some promise these last few games starting.

What were their other options? Lou williams is out 2 months so their backcourt is thin, and they're second to last in attendance?
