YOu are right. Notre Dame is a 2nd or 3rd tier program and Florida is a top tiered porgram. Back to Fantasyland for those thinking that Meyer is going to move. He is not Nick Saban.

Any stories of UF's demise w/o Tebow is very exaggerated. Even with all the guys leaving this year for the pro's, UF is STACKED OUT THE ASS. Wait until you see how many 5 star silent commits we have. Brantley and Debose are going to be Tebow/Harvin part 2. The defense will still be 2 deep and if the Pouncey twins return the offense is going to pancake teams.

You better expect UF to be a preseason top 5 team again. The only issue is the early tough schedule. We play USF, UT early then Bama and LSU back to back. Thats a killer with Bama and LSU back to back weeks. UGA will be better, USC will be very good, so it's not a cake walk but we should win the East.

UF is losing their entire team. There is no way they'll field a team remotely as good as the last two they've had. I'm not going to sit here and say the cupboard is bare and there is no talent, because they'll have a ton of it, but those players will have minimal experience. From what I've heard, the entire offense will be different with Brantley. Everyone is ready to anoint him the next two time Heisman winner when there's really no telling how good he will be or if they'll run the same offense they've been running over teams with the last two years. Will Dubose be healthy or is that a type of injury that lingers? As mentioned above, the schedule is going to be tougher as UT, LSU, UGA, SC, FSU will be better plus they play at Alabama. Florida will be "down", but down for Florida is losing around 3-4 games a year. If I was Meyer I wouldn't want to leave Gainesville. I damn sure wouldn't want to leave it for a situation like Notre Dame...but then again I'm not Urban Meyer.

They aren't living in boxes in Gainesville. I've been there several times. Campus is nice, stadium is awesome, aside from a stop light every 5 feet the town itself is nice. The enrollment has exploded and the alumni base and boosters are loaded. I almost took a job at the school myself and I'm not a Gator fan.
