    Anybody watch "The Blind Side"?

I think I am going to take my girl to see it this evening. I am a little bothered by the fact they make him out to be some ungodly sized giant. He is 6'4" 310. My girls bro plays D1 football and he is 6'6" 310 and I beat his ass sometimes. Unreal.

This sounds more like an excuse for you to talk about beating someone 6'6" 310 than anything else. Have some dignity next time.

Michael Oher tweeted that he was unhappy with the movie. He says its not very accurate the way thet portray him and his family and his football career. The movie makes it seem like he wasnt even into football until this new family takes him in, when in fact he was already playing football and getting scouted as a sophmore in high school. I beleive the new family did not take him in until he was a junior.

But, I have not seen the movie, so what do I know.

It does regard the thread. It points out your pathetic need for attention and to flex your e-muscle to a bunch of guys who don't give a fukk. If that isn't relevant, maybe the steroids have rotted what is left of your brain, Yzerman.

Two more exceptions I can think of. The book the Natural, by Bernard Malamud, was very dark and had a bad anti-climatic ending in my opinion and I loved the movie. The second is really a short story, The Body by Stephen King, that was turned into the movie Stand By Me, one of my all time Favs.

But, in general, I absolutely agree with you and have this book on hold at the library and will read it way before seeing the movie.

It was some of the better work I've seen Sandra Bullock do. That woman gets hotter with age.

Posts like this is why I love this site. A simple movie thread always brings everybodies anger out.

The movie was great. I took both my kids to see this and they loved it also. We even waited a couple of weeks after the release of the movie and the theater was still packed. I thought Bullock was awesome in the movie.

Very Disney-fied. Kinda like "The Rookie" but with football. I was a bit disappointed myself as I had heard it was better than it really was. Typicaly feel-good popcorn flick.
