Michael Oher tweeted that he was unhappy with the movie. He says its not very accurate the way thet portray him and his family and his football career. The movie makes it seem like he wasnt even into football until this new family takes him in, when in fact he was already playing football and getting scouted as a sophmore in high school. I beleive the new family did not take him in until he was a junior.

Two more exceptions I can think of. The book the Natural, by Bernard Malamud, was very dark and had a bad anti-climatic ending in my opinion and I loved the movie.
