Need input on a 1000 pt bet

I'm planning to do another 1000 pt bet at the SBR Book this weekend:

Plays I'm considering at the moment:

Falcons +4.5 (vs Eagles home)
Redskins +9.5 (vs Saints home)
Texans pk (vs Jaguars away)
Cowboys -2.5 (vs Giants away)
Dolphins +5 (vs Patriots home)
Buccaneers +6 (vs Panthers away)

I need to narrow it down to one team. I will give points to posters who convince me which of these bets I should or I shouldn't take. I will give points to any poster who gives solid analysis regardless of my pick.

Houston is key. It is the only one you listed the city and not the team. I am not sure if this means to pick them or rule them out though.

1-Early to tell on Philly/atl because jackson might not play. If jackson doesnt play, i'd take ATL plus the points at home
2: I personally wouldnt play redskins only because their offense probably wont be able to much on the saints defense
3: houston is one of my favorite plays this week. I watched the jags game and garrard just cant do anything in the pocket. Houston should tear them up.(play id personally go with)
4: Dallas -2.5 i think is a solid play. Giants clearly cant win games and even an important game last week vs broncos resulted in them getting their asses kicked.
5: Dolphins at home plus the points is a good bet IMO because of their running ability at home. Even with ronnie brown down, ricky williams has stepped up carried alot of the load.
6: Wrong team favored in my opinion. Watched some of the car game last week and delhomme is just god awful. he just threw it up in the air 3-4 times and got picked.

I'd go with either tb +6 or hou PK(or +1 if u get that on some sites)

Buccaneers. The panthers are horrible. The coach is gone soon, the qb stinks, smith is hurt, williams cant run anymore. The Bucs are playing decent. The Bucs have also covered 3 of their last 4 games . I like this play the most.

Bucs + 6. The have played better since they put freeman in. Coach fox refuses to take out his qb who throws 3+ picks a game. Dangelo torched them for 152 yds and 2 tds, but with his sprained ankle he wont be able to dominate levaing delhomme to throw too much.

Hard to back the Falcons playing a back up QB. I know he threw the game-winning TD pass on 4th down with almost no time on the clock. I know he'll get all the reps this week...but with a back up QB and Michael Turner questionable, I just can't back the Falcons.

I've heard the talk of the DREADED trap game for the Saints this week. And the Redskins are playing very well on defense...but they simply can't score enough points to make me sure they can cover 9.5 at home vs the Saints.

The Texans had the their heart ripped out last week by the Colts. They will wind up firing Kubiak at the end of the year. Jags laid an egg last week at SF. I expect Del Rio will have them playing better this week.

Dolphins play the Pats tough. You know the Dolphins will have a re-dedication to fundamentals after their pathetic performance last week in Buffalo. Pats coming off a short week and having to travel. I think you have to look long and hard at the Fins here.

My pick is the Bucs +6. They played very well last week at Atlanta and if not for a 4th down TD pass, they would have beaten the Falcons. Their rookie QB is continuing to play pretty well. The Panthers are a mess. Jake has a broken finger. They may have to turn to Matt Moore. Panthers play a lot of tight low-scoring games (when Jake isn't thowing multiple INT's). And that's the kind of game the Bucs can be in and cover.

They have there backs against the wall I really feel Giants at home play big this week plus its always ez for Dallas to lose they take a million needless penalties.

Agreed with the other posts. You should play the Buccaneers +6. Might want to buy a point or two just in case. But ATL is not the same team without Matt Ryan. He is their leader and TAMPA has been playing pretty good as of late especially at home. I wouldn't be surprise to see a straight up win by them.
