    Sportsbook.com - downgrade them?
    found this on the RX (and theres tons of cases at SBR too prolly)

    Here's the three latest cases:

    1) Sportsbook.com - player is flagged as pro. Account closed, $7,500 in winnings seized per "management decision", initial deposit sent back;

    2) Aces.com - player is promised (written promise, evidence provided) a 15% sign up bonus. He gets only 10%. He asks for the remaining 5% (which equals to $500). The book admits they offered him 15% but REFUSES to honor;

    3) SB family of books - the player sign up with 4 books. 3 of them REFUSE to return his initial deposit because he didn't wager (however they did close his accounts)

    And these are just the latest complaints flown in these last days.

    It seems that book is simply stealing money atm, and i bet they get a lot of clueless players only due to their name and domain...i rarely say that, but i would downgrade them ASAP.
    C is way too good for those rogues.

              What is SBR going to do? I used to like sportingbet and I talked good about them...
              I know they are huge but it seems like they are not able of controlling the volume.

                I actually think the C is close. Historically, over many years, Sportsbook has ranged from a D to a C+. You could see them begin to move toward their lower range. Keep in mind that this is the larget book so you will have more complaints although the ratios may be similiar to other C rated books.

                    Totally agree... But they should learn how to handle all their customers.

                      Jones and Tarver

                      I too was a victim of sportsbook.com and their "management decision". I bet Tarver by decision at 17-1 for 6 bucks and put 14 on Jones for KO at whatever odds. I did this because it looked like good odds. Turns out my winning bet was rejected and my losing bet was included. I argued with them about their rules that say something like "will be settled at the correct price." They told me the correct price was 17-10, but since my ticket wasn't bet at the correct price, it was voided....how stupid. I asked them to cancel my losing bet then...but they didnt do that either. It is a high risk sportsbook because at any time you have a winning bet, they can get away with saying it wasn't the correct odds. If they are going to beat me out of 14 dollars, imagine what they will do to big players. I am generally not a 6 dollar player, but I believe boxing is fixed and so I am skeptical to bet on it...and this time, it was fixed in a different way.

                        I would think the type of complaint is more important that the number of complaints.

                        You can have 100 people complaining about the site being down or the customer service not being fast enough in answering e-mails, but then if you have just one case of unjust account confiscation, even for a company with 2 million customers, is one too much. IMHO

                          Thats really bad, and i dont care how many customers they have (that should be the main reason to downgrade them anyway).
                          To say it in JJs way: I have them at D- now. What a shit book.

                          Every book with just a little bit of common sense wouldnt stiff a customer for such a laughable amount, that tells you a lot about them rogues.

                            That is exactly right.

                              I'm speaking with management about each player's case and some have been sent their money since. We expect nothing less than each player to receive 100% of funds due to him.

                              Quarm,

                              There are significantly more complaints than those. I do not think those are 100% accurate but the existing ones are not any less severe.

                                sportsbook.com is still just so bush...not a real ethical book in my opinion, no matter how many Brooke Burke pictures they have on the site...
