Brady, just because he is not playing well tonight, he is one of greatest all times.

Give Brees the MVP tonight! He is simply amazing. Just absolutely tearing this defense apart.

          Manning, Favre, Brady...OK.

Brees is the Case Keenum of the NFL...he has one more playoff win than Tony Romo...and has played 6 years longer.

Talk to me when he wins something.

Yes, BRADY needs on that list also.

In a couple years, perhaps Rogers.

What about Rivers down the road?

I think Rivers is having a good year also. My vote is for Brees right now for MVP. Still have 5 weeks left though but it sure looks that way.

Ahh so with that logic I can say that Barry Sanders is not in contention for one of the greatest running backs because he never even played in a Super Bowl (the best they did was reach NFC championship vs. Redskins in '94 I believe).
I hope you get my point. You can have an amazing player compete for years and yet never win a Super Bowl. Believe it or not it takes more than one single person. Your logic is flawed; look to the player's individual abilities.

Sanders was great his whole career, Brees has been "great" for two seasons.

Romo is the second highest rated passer - EVER !!! Why should be Brees viewed differently? Answer = he shouldn't, neither has proven anything.

Judging a QB is different from judging any other player on the team. The QB can make or break the team and by that logic a QB is only considered "great" with at least a SB ring. (Just my opinion)

I do not think 3 QB's are having unreal years all in the same year in NFL History.

Pavy, I would take Aaron Rodgers over Rivers...
