I'm hoping one of the computer experts on here can save me. I've got 6 months worth of data on a floppy disk which basically details all of my betting information for the entire year. I know i probably shouldn't have used a floppy but i did and here i am. I now can't access any of this information. I put my floppy in and i get the error message
The disk in drive A is not formatted
Do you want to format it now?
I may be wrong but i believe if i hit yes that i will lose all my information. Is this the case?
Secondly, at one point i got almost to where i could access the information so i tried to both copy the data and move the data to a different folder on my pc but it stated that it couldn't read the data on my floppy so i was unable to retrieve it this way. Is there any way of saving this vital information? Also, i was using openofficeorg 2.1 if that's of any help.
I would appreciate any assistance in this matter as any of you who keep detailed information know how much this would completely suck to lose it all.

icon. Click 'properties' from the pop-up menu. Click the tools tab, and check the disk for errors. Maybe this tool will be able to repair the disk.
