I could have gotten off but the prosecutor pissed me off the way he kept trying to make sure we understood the difference betwen different types of laws and stuff. It was common sense stuff but this guy kept talking to people like we were in grade school and I couldn't resist proving I had comprehensive skills above a grade school level. I allowed ego to get me elected.

Easiest way to get out of Jury Duty is you do not speak English when you get the slip in the mail.

I do not understand why you have to go if you do not get certified mail, how can they probe you ever got the slip/summons espeically in an apt building??

The case involves domestic violence and resisting arrest with violence. I could have easily told the defense attourney when the opportunity was at hand that while I am not nor have I ever been a racist I do have a very real prejudice to any man who has ever struck a woman or child. That would have disqualified me.
