They are not all high and mighty. Gerhardt would be just fine in the SEC. Let's take a few years back and look at Michigan going into the swamp taking on a much better Florida team. The spread was 13, look what happened. Just because the SEC beats the dog piss out of each other does not mean any team in the country can win. That being said, Colt McCoy will prove his righteousness in the NC against an SEC opponent.
