Weekly Betting Roundup for November 23-29
B. Sharps / Head Linesman / Legends
A long and action packed Thanksgiving week has to come to an end. Monday there was a
wash, maybe a small win for the house as the red hot Titans beat Houston. The players liked
the Titans moneyline +170 or so and that proved costly for the house, who the total and side small. Tuesday was good for the house as Ball State won and also garnered the under to sweep for
the books. I won’t get into hoops yet, or I will write a small novel.
Turkey day rolled around and the players once again were not the least bit confused betting
against the Lions and on Dallas, it worked perfectly to put the books in a big hole. The
books made a little back at night with Denver covering but once again the players tabbed
the Broncos on the moneyline to wipe out some of the game profits. Friday was busy with the players picking up wins on Rutgers, Ohio, Central Michigan, and the Boise-Nevada game over. The house countered with West Virginia, Auburn, and Colorado to offset the players.
Saturday also saw a back and forth day; the players did well on Virginia Tech, U Conn, Tennessee, the Gators, and USC but the house also got middled or sided on two high volume games as were Arizona and LSU, both winning by 3. The house countered with wins on Duke, North Carolina State, Baylor, Georgia, and Hawaii. I didn’t add Notre Dame to this because a lot of sharps and the public came Irish late to offset any decision.
Sunday, Peyton Manning – the 2000s version of Joe Montana always making players happy and books miserable – stormed the Colts back to win the game and the heavily bet second half put the books in a hole. The players also had the usual freebies with Vikings and Chargers. The house was also hurt badly when the Titans scored late to land 3 to win all bets made on the game. The house had good games too winning with Buffalo and Washington, but not a great Sunday for the books once again.
Good luck players; talk to you next week!
