    bonus rollovers
i know alot of you guys love the rollovers. but, just how valuable are they really. because, some places make you roll it over like 7x's or more in some cases. not to mention some places make you wait 30 days before you can even take it out even after you completed the rollover requirements.
some places like carib will not let you cashout there bonuses either.

    i personaly don't feel it's worth it.

Depends on what your doing with the bonus.. If you scalp or arbitrage the bonus is HUGE

As I believe marc has said, if you are going to give the action anyway might as well get a bonus for it. If you prefer the hit and run approach, skip the bonus. Is sort of like comps. You better not be playing just for the comp, but if you give action anyway . . .

Its worth it if you stay with that book, and continue to play there. Then the rollovers will come with time. But like Lakers said, if your planning on hitting and running, its not worth it. Thats what the books are trying to reduce I think, are the hit and runs.

Im not a big bonus man, I could careless if I get it or not. But if its there when I sign up, Im not going to turn it down. That would be stupid.

The downside (for the punter) is how do you know you are going to stay for 30 days or 7 x? Their prices may not be the best for a while, bad markets, etc etc.

Suddenly your married to this bookie with your funds tied up in conditions you keep forgetting.

It is much much simpler when the bonuses are added AFTER you complete the requirements. That way, if you happen to be playing anyway, as you say, then it really is a bonus in the literal sense.

I defnitely think bonuses are worth it...I look for places that have on average a three times rollover...I just keep track of how much I play with each book so I withdraw after hitting my rollover requirements...ends up cutting down on a lot of juice...

Yeh its a downside but there has to be a downside when you get free money. If you hate the book but are willin to stay for 7 times you are paid well.

I agree with you that if they could give it to you after it would be good but players wouldnt sign up as much for that and the books usully have to add em manually.

Bonuses aren't what I look for. If the lines and vig are right then I'll play at the book so why not grab the bonus.

I use the bonuses to reduce my juice on each play...and the 3x to 4x rollovers aren't usually a problem because I play so much throughout the year...
