IOWA may pass OHIO ST today in BCS standings

Why/how???

OSU was 10th AND IOWA 11th in last weeks poll.

However, OSU was ranked 8th in the coaches and IOWA 13th.................OSU will only move one spot up to 7th and Iowa will pass THREE teams and move into the 10th spot in all liklihood.........surpassing GT, OKIE STATE, and PITTSBURGH!

Two other pluses............IOWA will close some small ground on PSU in the coaches poll as a couple voters will realize what a farce it is to have PSU ranked ahead of Iowa after reading/hearing about all the backlash and looking further into why in the hell they have PSU ranked ahead of Iowa.............AND IOWA will have improved their computer ratings because of ARIZONA's win and NEBRSKA'S win(thanks ISU).

IOWA and OSU will be very, very, very close in the BCS STANDINGS..........with a 55-45 chance that Iowa will actually be ranked ahead of them.............watch and see!!!

Yeah, nailed the coaches placement of OSU and IOWA(not hard to do).............however after looking over the BCS rankings last week, IOWA will still fall short of passing OSU in the BCS............but they will have narrowed the gap.

The important thing is that IOWA distances themselves from the most overrated team in the country, PENN STATE.

Fishhead, do you think USC has a shot at getting in the Top-14 when it's all said and done? They're at 18 right now and likely need the following to happen + some love from the CPU's...

- Oregon (-9.5) beats Oregon State
- Clemson (PK) beats Georgia Tech
- East Carolina (+1) beats Houston
- Cincinnati (+1.5) beats Pittsburgh

FYI, my numbers have them at a dead heat with Miami-FL at 14/15. It will be entirely dependent on how much love USC gets from the CPU's for their soon to be W over Arizona.

I couldn't agree more.........ARIZONA vs USC is huge.

ND doesn't go to a bowl should the Warriors pull off a monster upset on National TV (no available at-large bids for 6-6 teams). Should Bucky win, I will be doing everything and anything to get tickets to this year's Little Caesars Pizza Bowl (only to scalp them later) because it will be Notre Dame vs. Central Michigan.
