I know it's not the Suns/Raptors game for tomorrow, but that opened up at 232 at CRIS.

Too young to give a legitmate answer, but I imagine what the over unders were in maybe 1986 for the Mavericks and Nuggets with the likes of Ronaldo Blackman and Alex English playing. I bet there were games in the high 250's back then.

370 in a December 13, 1983 game between the Detroit Pistons and Denver Nuggets. The Pistons won 186-184.

yeah, but the total wasn't set at 370 on that game. that's just the highest scoring game.

Anyone remember that Denver at Seattle game a few years back? It was the highest scoring game ever I think, 3 OTs if I remember correctly it went way over the 250 number or whatever it was.

This topic comes up every year or so. General answer is 244-248 for the most recent years. Personally I have seen a 246.5 about 2 years ago but I'm sure historically that there has been a higher total.

Last year's late season Golden State at Pheonix game was 243 at my book. Highest I've ever seen. Crept over easy (256?).

Well when the Suns played at Warriors on March 15, 2009, the Suns won 154-130.

I don't know the line, but they played again at Pheonix, April 15, and I think the line was 143 but it went under Suns winning 117-113.

No, it's an inside joke between Me and AbeHonest.
He was asking what to do if a Grizzly Bear is a mile away and wants to kill you.
I told him, they only like fish, and I've survived two bear encounters.

But this was the correct answer, so there you go. Roll in shit and wave your arms around.

It's a good answer to any question really...

There were some totals set over 300 with those Westhead Nugget teams.

always bet the over when the total looks too high or too low (under if it's too low obviously)

                                                            it always seems to win

aka a 230 total will go over far more than not and a 170 under seems to stay under far more than not

I can remember a 254 total when Denver was playing that "run and gun" offense, but that 310 is just mind boggling.

True story. I was living in Seattle in the 90s, and I had bet $300 on the Seattle/Denver over, so I decided to go to the game. I paid my $4.00 for a bleacher seat at the Seattle Center and watched the show.

There was one minute left in the game and I needed 21 points to win. Obviously, I was sunk, but as I watched everyone file out I just decided to stay and suffer some more punishment.

Denver scored--no defense. Seattle scored--no defense. Denver--Seattle. Denver--Seattle. Back and forth, forth and back, and amazingly they scored about 26 points in that last minute.
