I have never understood the fascination with getting a tattoo. Why someone would want to have hundreds of needles stuck into them and the pain and discomfort I don't know. Why do people feel the need to mutilate their bodies?I always figured it had something to do with low self esteem?

Ya it don't understand people getting tatoo's at all. It might be cool for like a couple of days, then it just scares the **** out of people.

I don't like tattoos. I would not want my kids to get tattoos. With that said, I don't care wtf other people do to their bodies.

Tattoos are fine...but full body tattoos are too much.

I think a good looking chick with a half sleeve is just about the sexiest thing on the planet.

That woman tattooed her forehead like that for $10,000. I had to look it up just now because I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

                          Ten. Thousand. Dollars.

She said she did it so that she could send her 11 year-old son to private school. Does it really matter what school you send that kid to if he's inheriting his intelligence from her in the first place?

The sad thing isn't that this mother sacrificed her looks for her child's education for $10,000. The sad thing is that goldenpalace.com paid nearly 3x that amount for a piece of toast that looks a bit like the virgin Mary.

I have one, done when I was younger. Only recently started regretting it. Knew that day might come. It has.

There's a woman at the Tim Horton's drive-thru I get served at often. She's about 60, has a tat on her hand and one on her forearm. What 60 yr old woman wants to look like a sailor?

                                  BTW, OP mention "pain"

I wouldn't go that far. It's more of an annoyance. You do feel it more when it's over bone rather than fleshy spots.
