Colorado program is in a sad state. AD wanted to fire Hawkins, CU President Bruce Benson wouldn't let him despite private donation money being there for a buyout because he thought it would look bad to the faculty. Also told the AD he won't let Hawkins be fired next year regardless of his record. Also is delusional enough to think that the donations going to the AD for the purpose of firing Hawkins will magically still come in for academics instead. Major donors to the university have already started pulling donations/rewriting wills that included significant donations to the university, not just the athletic department.

The defense is dominating the game. Nebraska's game plan is to punt the ball inside the Colorado 10 yard line and let the defense score the easy TD.
