I have gone 161-90 (64%) in CFB over the last 2 years, and it's the only sport that I bet seriously, and I do it for the money. I only lay about 300-500 per game and rarely 1000-1500 which probably doesn't rank me as a 'professional' level bettor which means I can probably choose from a lot of different sites.
I'm very serious about being as efficient as possible, reducing juice wherever possible and getting bonuses is nice to offset some costs. I typically don't mind deposit/withdrawl fees as I only deposit or withdraw once the entire year. I'm not a bonus scalper and I don't need 10 different sites to bet on. I experimented with a variety of places last year and of course loved Pinnacle, but that's no longer an option... this March Madness I put 400 in matchbook just to screw around and see if I liked it and it was even better than I had hoped, so that will be my primary site this fall.
Problem with MB is that I often want to lay 500 or so on really small market games, and I'm worried that there might not be enough of a market for me to get that down. Thus, I am looking for 2 things:
1. a 'normal' sportsbook where I can lay bets down if I can't get them on matchbook, preferrably at -105. I am thinking about 5 dimes, which, according to SBR lays -105 for CFB. Is this correct? Thoughts/opinions/comments?
2. a 'normal' sportsbook where I can lay bets down for future games before the season starts. I typically KILL on these, and thus am willing to pay -110 which is usually the best you can do on futures. I like to make season win over/under at bets as well, but have decided against it as it ties up a lot of my liquidity until the end of the season. In the past, I used sportsbetting.com, bodog and betmaker. What's the most reliable site where I can get my money down on future games as early as possible? Any recommendations?
I'll probably drop 2k into future games, put about 4k into the 'normal' sportsbook hopefully getting -105 and 8-10k into matchbook for the bulk of my betting.
Any advice would be appreciated - also, where do you guys plan to play CFB this season?
