Alabama vs. Auburn (SPREAD) (WRITE UP)

When I look at this game Alabama dominates every category. But what's not being discussed is something that a lot of people really don't realize, and thats the ability of Bama defense to struggle against a fast pace offense ( I PERSONALLY BELIEVE THIS IS WHY THE LINE IS DROPPING). Last year in the Sugar Bowl people was saying that Bama didn't want to be there but the truth is Utah offense was a HURRY UP and it kept Bama defense unbalance and they kept guessing and looked really clueless. That's one way to attack Saban defense. BUT, the thing I see in this game thats a difference in the Sugar Bowl is Saban will not be surprised about the hurry up offense this week. They basically had two weeks to prepare for this game since Bama played Chattanooga last week. I expect Bama defense to be prepared for the hurry up and they will have quick adjustments. Another thing people don't realize is Bama defense gets most of there schemes on the field after the offense has shown there formation, but I think today they have some type of on the field package within the players on the field. I seriously don't believe Saban will think he have the time to adjust his defense against Auburn today like he normally do in other games. With that being said I do think Bama will be prepared today on the defensive side of the ball. Now on the offensive side of the ball for Bama they have an advantage running the football against Auburn, they also have an advantage passing the football. Auburn defense has been atrocious this year, they are giving up almost 200 yards a game just on the ground and they are giving up over 150 in the air. I can see Bama handling business in this game!

yea but the difference here is Saban always struggles to prepare his defense against fast offenses. I thought today with 2 weeks to prepare he would have them ready. But I guess not

it has more to do with his attacking the perimeter quickly than it does the pace. If you know the weakness of a 3-4 that's built strong up the middle and you are familiar with Malzahn then you could see this coming. However, I expect it to be a close game in the end.

Bama will have to show more 4-3 looks in this game. Or they will have to play those linebackers on the edges. Saban has to make adjustments.
