He avoided detection for a while. He probably became masterful at masking his efforts, and according to leaked excerpts from his book he seemed to act on inside information based on his knowledge of referee tendencies. Can't be 100%.

Have to agree with that one. I remember Bibby fouling Kobe's forearm with his face with the ref 3 feet away. Amazing. A close 2nd was Spurs beating the Suns 2 seasons ago. The Suns were clearly the better team.

That is one incredible video. And how right on was the announcer? (it was one of the Berry's I think). Looking back the piece the ESPN writer did on that game/series was something mystical.

There were a couple of games in that Lakers series that raised eyebrows but you're right, nothing like Game 7.

haha you have no idea, I watched that game in awwwee contemplating never watching the NBA ever again. I couldn't believe my eyes, even Mr. Daniels, Jack thought that shit was ****ed up. I still to this day can't believe how scott free he got off. He made a mockery of the NBA and they let it happen.
