they won't grind anything out Tully...... I've figured this year would be a .500 year for them, as they rebuild.... unless Dante Milligan turned out to be a Dejuan Blair like frosh talent (he hasn't so far)


I faded them on all 5 games thus far, and have won on 4 of them..... when Dixon and Brown return from injury and suspension (2 of their top 3 returning scorers from last year) we'll see what they really have....


for now, I'd fade them.... till the public catches up... take the unders, as they still play solid half court defense..


and in January, when people realize they aren't a perenial powerhouse anymore....and the lines adjust.... start tailing them again when Dixon and Brown start playing

I just think Dixon is such a good coach, that he going to get something out of them. Dixon and Brown will add a lot to the team come January. I liked the way McGhee played.

tully, you make a good point about Dixon...and I think I've seen that thus far.... he is squeezing quite a bit from very little talent...and inexperience little talent at that, so far.

lost 3 of the top 10 Pitt players of all time in one off-season (blair, young, fields)...lost Biggs a very solid player to graduation as well lost 2 of his 3 (dixon, brown) other top players due to other reasons

and he is still beating a # 3 team at a neutral site in early season after 30 mins of ball.....

that is amazing....... but eventually you have to have the horses to run with top teams in the nation, and wannamaker, Mcghee, and Gibbs aren't gonna get ya there yet.
