Has the forum helped or hurt you as a whole?


Basically to me the forum gives me great value in gambling and entertainment. It has drowned me in gambling though, always looking to cash a ticket. Without forum I may not be as tied up with gambling. What has it done to you?


Also, I think most gamble to shadow real problems in life. Looking to cover up other parts of life not proud of or don't want to fukkin deal with. Place to get away maybe find closure if life. Gambling is a steel wall no one breaks through, no enjoyment.

Forum is entertainment for me since I am only at it at work

I like the contests and now that they have a SBR Sportsbook and Casino its been incredible

I do some wagers but for small quantities such as $2 just for fun.
so I am not losing so much money

Like anything else, it is good in small doses, and is very entertaining. There is a limit with it though - for example, a couple of those clowns from EOG that came over this weekend average well over 100 posts per day - you should be embarrassed for yourself if you post that much, says you do not have a whole lot going on in your life.

Most posters trade hours for dollars just to get their hands on cash to gamble. It's intrigueing at times seeing what some posters do. jj mows the neighbors grass to get his hands on cash just to gamble his balls off. He can't wait to reload at RW.com slows down, uses his 5% to gamble again only to lose again and have to deliver newspapers.

I've never seen so many young adults trapped gambling already. I think ESPN glorifying cards on TV may have jump started the fad. Gambling though is quite like any other addiction. A little is ok, getting buried not knowing anything other than gambling, using it as a crutch, sitting in front of PC's all day looking to make an extra 5 dollars. It's scary.

It is what the individual makes it out to be. It is entertainment if that's what you're looking for. It can be funny or sad depending on how you interpret what others are saying. It is reliable because regardless of your position on a game there will be various opinions for and against on everything. It can be informative. Depending on thesubject and it's matters not what the subject is there will be a multitude of opinions. Some logical, some rediculous but no shortage of opinions. It can be comforting. There are others out there like you. It matters not if you are in a good mood or a bad mood there is someone out there who will mirror your emotions. It cn fill a void. Let's face it some of the people who are on this or any other forum just aren't socially capable of having relationships with other people and this is their way of interacting.

Basically this forum is anything you choose it to be or mak it out to be. Good or bad, entertaining or disappointing it is merely an extention of everyday life nothing more nothing less.

JJ would kill himself if it wasn't for SBR. SBR is his life. Goes to bed at 11 pm wakes up at 5:30 am and first thing he does on the shitter is log in and post his spreadsheet at 6:00 am. No wonder his spreadsheet is down the toilet.
