So, I'm driving home from Plattsburgh to home for Thanksgiving break. Bringing some friends home as well that live in my area. So, I'm driving and I'm speeding like always and never have gotten caught before until now.
I was going 78 or so and was behind a car. He slammed on breaks b/c he saw a cop, so I did the same, thinking I wouldn't get caught. WRONG. After I passed the cop, I see him slighty move, then eventually pull out. I think he is getting guy in front of me, he was clearly going faster than me. I slow down, going around 71-72, but cop pulls behind me and turns on lights. FUKK
I was pissed, he should have gotten guy in front of me, but regardless, I got pulled over. So, I'm alrdy in glove department getting registration and everything and he knocks on my window. I roll down window and he says, "NEXT TIME DON'T MAKE ME WAIT TO PULL DOWN THE WINDOW."
I was like, FUKK asshole guy here. So he asks if I knew why he was pulling me over, and I said, not rly, I was only going 73....he said DONT LIE TO ME, YOU WERE GOING 78. I was OK. Gave him my information and he goes back.
Comes back 5 minutes or so later and says, I'm only giving you a fine and not a ticket for speeding. He said, I had obstruction w/ some things I had in my mirror, which I did, and he said I won't gve you speeding ticket, only a ticket for the obstruction.
So instead of getting pts on ticket and insurance raised, I have to plead guilty, which of course I will, and pay a little fine. SWEET, I got fukking lucky.
So, driving along and only about 30 minutes later, I see a cop speeding after me, I notice I'm doing over 80 and hit brakes....too late. he pulls me over. FUKK. No way I'm getting out of this, I was clearly going over 80, even over 85.
My window is down and all the information is rdy for him as he walks over. He goes, you seem upset, which I was of course. He said you know why I pulled up over, I was like probably for speeding again. I said I got pulled over like 30 minutes ago and he asked to see ticket. I show it to him and he goes, OHH Officer Hall, how fast were you going then, I was like only 74, lieing of course. He was like, Hall wouldn't pull you over for only 74, I was like IDK, he did though.
He goes, do you know how fast you were going this time, I was like nope. I was going 92 when I passed him. Then he said it took him 3 miles to catch me, then I was going 86 when he caught me. I was like ohh wow. He went back to car.
Clearly, there's NO WAY I'm getting out of this one. Just got lucky not 40 minutes ago, now getting pulled over again, and this time 27 miles per hour over the limit, I'm fukked. So he eventually comes back and he says, this is the luckiest day of you life...I'm like YESSSS inside of course.
He was like, I used to drive fast when I was younger too, but it doesn't give you the right to actually do it. He said, you're lucky I'm in good mood right now and I know where you're coming from, I am originally from Plattsburgh and blah blah.
He said I wrote you up for not having a seat belt on, just plead guilty and pay the fine. This ticket would have been 6 pts on ur license out of possible 11, so you are very lucky.
So, instead of 2 tickets, 8 pts or so on license, insurance increase, many dollars worth of tickets and stuff, I got 2 little fines, no insurance stuff, and parents won't even know about this.
