Cornell actually has a decent team. They gave Syracuse trouble last year as well. Syracuse plays down to everyones level and rises up against good teams. This might be a deflater game for Syracuse, but I hope not.

Cornell is a good well coached team. They do not have much as far as a presence inside but they can shoot the lights out. They have traditionally played very well when they come into the Carrier Dome. The game means a lot more to them than it does to Syracuse being that they are a small school that is just about an hour away and the only other Division 1 program in this part of the state. Syracuse is also in a vulnerable spot due to their big jump in the rankings. They traditionally do not play well when expectations are high as they are with this team now. I don't know if it is the way that they prepare after being ranked high or what but Jimmy B lets his teams get into the hype. You also have to remember as talented as this Cuse team is....they are still young. They will have some ups and downs this year and are still learning to play together.

Syracuse is going to try to pound the ball down low to A.O. and Rick Jackson. They will try to push the tempo a little bit and get out and run. Cornell is going to try to slow it down and find some nice set 3 point shots. If Cornell's shooting is on they can give Syracuse everything they can handle. Cornell was leading a big chunk of the game they played against each other last year and Syracuse finally shut the door on them in the second half. That was against a much more veteran Syracuse team.

The only play on this game would be Cornell at +14 if you are looking to play the entire game. I think the best play would probably be Cornell 1H which should be around +7 or +8 depending on where you find it.
