Late night TV: Pawn stars on History channel

I love this stuff. Anyone else watch it? Tonight, they had a 15th century jousting helmet (with unusual modern repairs), a Pac-Man machine, and an ancient rifle. I never thought watching this "plot" develop could be so entertaining. But then, I love the History channel.

Love the show.

I'm sure it's staged somewhat. The independent experts just happen to show up within minutes of someone just walking in off the street with an old antique? Yeah, right.

But I don't think the experts are in cahoots with the pawn shop to screw the customers cause they almost always value the items much higher than what Rick originally estimated them at. For example a customer brought in an old map from the 1700s and thought it was worth couple of hundred but the expert estimated it at over $1200.

Another time, Rick went to buy a plane and tried to lowball the guy, but the expert helped the customer out by convincing Rick to pay more. I thought Rick wanted to punch the guy.

Good show. I felt like there was way to much filler and not enough items. But still worth watching nonetheless.
