I've been watching college basketball lines on SBRodds.com, and I noticed very few totals. One sportsbook only had 1 total, and another had 4, out fo about 30 games. (These were closing lines). Why are there no totals posted for the most part? Because it's early in the season and the oddsmakers don't know how many points per game each team is going to score and there aren't enough games?
Other sports aren't like this as far as I can tell (totals are always posted, but on college football, they are posted a few days after the spreads are posted)
