With this game possibly Bowden's last home game as coach it is possible that this game could be much closer than we think. It is a rival game and those games have been closer than we all think.

I do see some of the lines this week to be quite large other than this game.

Florida State has no defense at all, and without Ponder, not much of an offense. Florida State mistakes lead to easy Florida scores. Last year Florida won this game by 30, and Florida State had a much better team. The only thing that may hold Florida back is the fact that they play Alabama next week. Meyer will probably not risk any unnecessary injuries once this game is put away, which should be by halftime. Florida State sucks. There is no way around it.

Also, this is the last game in the Swamp for the Florida seniors. They won't let up until Meyer takes them out, and even when he does, FSU still won't score, as Florida's second string defense is excellent as well.

As a FSU fan I hate to do this, but I agree. on all points. EJ Manuel is not ready for this environment. This is not the Big Ten where anybody can win a game, and the top teasm are frauds. Florida is a top 3 team, talent wise, coaching, and their record. FSU will get rolled, and Bobby Bowden will make the school have to pay Jimbo $6 mil so he can comeback to help FSU flounder once more.

Florida may look past this game and onto next week also. That game with Alabama is going to be on their minds there if they get a big enough lead. I sure would be careful on that game.

I have nothing against Florida State (except some of their fans are totally off the wall), but I hope Florida destroys them. Maybe this will convince Bowden that it is time to give up the ghost. He is never going to catch JoePa, even if those 14 wins are not vacated. If they are, then all bets are off. In the best interest of Florida State's football program, I hope that the NCAA strips Bowden of those wins, so he finally is mathamatically eliminated from that dream. Maybe then this old man will realize that it is time to let Jimbo take over and start the rebuilding process that should have been started 5 years ago. Bowden is being very selfish here. He has done a lot for Florida State, but if he wants to do more, he steps down.

FSU's offense had some hope with Ponder. Now it has nothing. UF will feed off of FSU mistakes and FSU's defense is horrendous. This is senior day and UF is already emotionally charged the past few days. The fans are going to be geeked for the seniors and they are going to have a special tribute to Tebow/seniors. This is going to be a beat down of huge proportions. I see a 45 - 6 type of game. UF's defense has given up 6 TD's all year. Don't expect the Noles to get one.

Bowden is too pig headed to step down. Another beatdown is not going to change him. He really thinks next year he will have his players in place and they should be improved as they are very young. The problem is that the entire group are horrible coaches. I really don't think Jimbo is the answer as well. If he was they would be performing at a higher level. I would clean shop and bring in a up and coming young guy that's hungry. FSU is FAR behind Criami and UF.

People who think Florida will look past FSU, Georgia Tech will look past Georgia, Texas will look past Texas A&M, or Bama will look past Auburn make me laugh.

If Florida doesn't win this game, next weeks game means signigicantly less. Believe it or not, those kids could give a damn about winning the SEC title right now.

FSU may surprise on offense, but their defense can't stop a soul. They'll wear down in the 2nd half. The only way FSU covers is if they back door it.
