#3I would recommend playug, I was a former client. I was also a former client of betus. They contacted me because betus was having problems. I had nothing but good business with them. Payouts once a week if i recall. I was kind of skiptical at first but the are courteous, honest, and most importantly they payed out on time. A+++, with no complaintsComment -

#5I want to set the record straight, I have not posted anything until now because I knew Betus was going to have problems, I was the Sales Director for the past few years for them. Here is the real story, Betus was not paying us our commissions, so gave the option to a few of our employees to go to company that has been around for along time, a lot longer then any book in CR, they are a respectable company, that not only pay’s every client every week, we actually call our clients to see if they would like a payout.
Now as far as us stealing clients we did not steal anyone, the guy’s I brought over had clients that they have been dealing with for years and as with any sales organization around the world they called their client and gave them the option to come here, some of them did some of them did not, although with the recent press a lot of them have been calling us now. This company does not sign up a lot of people we keep a small client base of around 1000 people so we can keep out of all the bureaucracy.
I know Betus was spreading rumors around that we are a scam shop, I would put out a challenge if anyone can find someone who has played with us and has not gotten a payout we will give them $10,000. So once again, in short The company has been around very long time, we did not steal anyone we gave people the option, we payout every week on time, we do not wish Betus harm or ill feelings, we just had the foresight to see what was happen and make a move to very respectable organization.Comment -

#6Good deal?
I was thinking about playing at playug.com too. when they called me they asked me for my W2 form from my taxes to see my income? They said if I sent it I would get $5000 credit and that I would get paid by someone direct. It seemed sort of odd to me! is this ok bill dozer? I am used to getting western union not having to pay someguy where I live. Still sound too good to be tru.Comment -

Here is some general advice. It's dangerous to give out your information to US companies if you don't trust them, nevermind a bookie you don't know. It sounds like they are trying to rush the growth of a credit business and eliminate some of the risk by investigating backgrounds. Who knows what kind of role this info plays if they have a dispute with you. If that is not enough reason to decline, I would be leery of someone so willing to be on the radar these days.Comment -

#11I found an article online through google. Seems like PlayUG is somewhat dishonest book. The article i read was from a client who ask for a payout when he was up and they had some sorry excuse that he hasnt played enough to get a payout. Then when he was down he was called to ask when he will meet with thier rep to pay his losses and he told them that they never wanted to pay him so he wasnt paying them.
Also the article stated he was threatend if he doesnt pay them, he got the cops invovled too.....dont beleive me go search the web for them.
Thanks Bill on your info, I just stopped my friend from signing up...Comment -

#14OMG.
Tacomax did not just break out the Josch Beckett image did he?
...or is that Curt...what's his last name?
Obviously irrelevant. Taco should be banned for spamming Red Sox images. Keep it up, Taco, and you will not be respected any longer. It's a new year but that doesn't mean you can't be Problem Poster for 2007.Comment -

#15PlayUG Has Been Great
As a former BetUS client (cheated by them) I was reluctant to go with PlayUG. They have been 100% honest and fair. It is a different experience than just sending out money and playing it. Just ask for their payout rules (which are fair and easy) in advance.
They have been accomodating and helpful in every case. They brought me $15K in cash, no questions, no problems.Comment -
