Did minnesota ever make a serious threat to score on iowa ?
Now this is the reason I never watch my picks .
I do, sometimes, check the scores and follow the updates ,but if it's a bad score I seldom go back and check .
I naturally assumed that the missed extra point Iowa had in the first half would be the" natural born killer" for my wager ?
And it was damn near being that too !

Who would have thought Iowa would cover the 10 point spread while scoring only a paltry 12 points ?
Did Minnesota ever really threaten to score ?
Even a field goal would have beat our Iowa players .
Now that is a close close way to win a bet .
That was good hard earned money .

I like the 48/6 scores much better .

      God !
See,those damn books knew more about this game than we "suckers" thought !
      How could Iowa only be a 9 1/2 ,10 point favorite ?

It's makes no "logical" sense ?
They would have to be 18/20 point favorites the way they played Ohio State last week .
These kind of screwy point spreads can mess up a guy's mind .
A guy just like me .
