I'm a very knowledgeable sports fan and thinking about delving into the world of sports betting.. How should I get started? Obviously I would like to learn as much as possible about using betting sites before signing up with anyone.. Any advice or links would be greatly appreciated..
Help me get started...

#3I would recommend just browsing past threads on the forum and also check out SportsbookReview.com. It would be wise to stick to the books they recommend.
You have to be careful and smart though. I've seen many people who thought they were "very knowledgable sports fans" learn otherwise really quickly while going broke in the learning process. Not trying to dissuade you, just trying to alert you to the realities of this stuff.
If you have more specific questions, send me a PM and I'll be glad to help you out.Comment -

#8Try some sites like Covers for gambling data and maybe sbr live lines and then just play around with test accounts at sportsbooks. Usually sportsbooks use guest and guest as username and password to test out.

#9My best advice is to walk away right now. Just continue to be a fan and don't walk down that path. You'll regret it later in life...Originally posted by PookieI'm a very knowledgeable sports fan and thinking about delving into the world of sports betting.. How should I get started?
