There is No way that UCLA will score 23 points today. I think the greek has lost his mind or is so rich that he is just giving away money. The greek is like Bill Gates today, he is giving away money. UCLA team total under 23 is a gift. This team total might as well be 23,000 because it is going under either way.
Look at this. UCLA'a offense SUCKS. This team has scored 226 points in 10 games which comes out to 22.6 points per game. But most of that was scoring points against crappy defenses. They scored 33 against San Diego State the first game of the year, and 43 against Washington State last week. The thing is everyone scores big against those teams.
When you take out those 2 games against terrible defenses who give up points to every opponent, you are left with a UCLA team who hasnt scored big against any team all year. Without those 2 games in the mix, UCLA is averaging less than 20 points a game. They have scored this year 19, 23, 16, 10, 26, 13, 19, and 24 points. So how are they going to be able to score 24 points against a very good Sun Devils defense ? I will tell you -- they wont.
The Sun Devils defense is EXCELLENT. Yes, I know Carr is out so what he wasnt that big a deal. This Zona state team was giving up like 19 a game before getting mauled by Oregon last week. I dont care, Oregon is a great team that has been whipping everyone lately. UCLA's offense is nothing near what Oregon has. Zona State held USC to 14 points 2 weeks ago. They held Georgia to 20 and Jake Locker's Huskies to 17. They held Cal to 23. These are all better offenses than UCLA.
UCLA is starting a freshman QB Kevin Prince isnt even very good. This guy is 132-224 with only 6 TD passes this year to go with his 5 Interceptions. By the end of the game today I think he will have more INT's than TD's this year. Oh yeah, he has also been sacked 17 times this year. The offensive line cant protect this guy and Zona state has a big line that will easily dominate UCLA's offensive line.
This Prince kid is going to be getting sacked at least 5 times today. UCLA will not be able to get its running or passing games going today and they are not going to score no 23 points against this excellent Zona State Defense.
