Why WSEX is best poker site (imo)
I played poker all weekend for the first time in a long time. I was up a bunch and then lost most of it back. But this morning with I looked at my account it was in the plus by more than $200. I scratched my head and upon further review, realized it was the rake rebate. How cool is that?!

I read somewhere on the Internet that they use 'bots - that is how they make their money. I don't know if that's true.

cheating bots or just bots? i doubt they can do that. if they have a cheating bot who knows all the cards, then i think one of those scamming site might use it.

My understanding was that the 'bots don't necessarily cheat, but that they do win occasionally, making it tougher for the players to win. I cannot possibly remember the website where I saw that.

Every website out there has been accused of bots at one time or another. I don't believe it about WPX because if they had propping bots their games would be fuller. Also, notice they took player names off the chat run down to try to make things a little harder on the Poker Tracker technicians. To me this proves theyr'e out to give everyone a fair shake and aren't interested in turning over the keys to the vault to a few grinder operations like the ones that populate the highly marketed sites.

They say their model is to run a no-rake poker room as a courtesy asking for sportsbook patronage in return, and it's a story that makes sense.

Like Mavs I find it weird that it hasn't been more successful.

I don't like WSEX's poker software one damn bit. They are infamous for cheating players, and many top pros have written blogs suggesting that players stay the hell away from WSEX. With their rakeback they ought to have close to a monopoly on the market, but yet not one sophisticated or professional player gives WSEX their action...

Big that's interesting...could you post any links to blog entries that discuss WSEX?

My gut reaction is that poker players with blogs tend to have affiliate deals with sites so of course they'd hate WSEX, but I have an open mind and would be interested in what they have to say.

Big, isn't that a GREAT argument for playing there, in a twisted way? I'd love a game with no sophisticated or professional players...

I play there and my impression is that the skill level is above a normal raked site. Anybody who plays regularly there and elsewhere want to confirm this?

I'd assume the implication is that pro players don't frequent the site because even they don't feel they can consistently beat the bots.

I'd be rather skeptical of that notion with respect to no-limit.

I used to play there everyday for around 3 months and i use to receive back around $300 a week back in rake.
Now i'll tell you why i quit playing there. There is no doubt in my mind that the site is filled with cheats.I don't know if some of these guys are on the phone with each other or using online chat.Just to many weird things going on in there.I could give you 100's of examples...Or you can just trust me on this one..

Ganchrow, if you can't beat the bots, that means one of three things. Either the bots cheat, they play together, or they are better than the bots we know about - every bot known so far is very beatable in anything but headsup.
