    NBA playoffs: Exciting and profitable
I always thought the NBA playoffs were the easiest to cap. But a lot of games you just have to lay off of. The Bulls game last night was a game I loved the Bulls put couldnt justify trying to catch the falling knife.

The Utah-Hou series was great and simple to cap except for gm 7.

This Spurs-Suns series is a dangerous one for cappers. More of a coin flip on who will win. But the O/U started for Gm 1 at 180 which was over 20 points off from a fair line.

Lots of action, good action. Pick your spots guys.

The series are fairly easy to cap, but not game by game though.Theres a lot of factors you need to add in.

It is easier because they keep playing each other and you can get a good read on the teams

Like today the Suns are sitting at +150 on the ML. This is a must win game for a very good team. The value is squarely on the dog.

Some good info from poster 'MrBator' on another forum:

This is the Suns' eighth playoff series since Nash joined the team in 2004. In six of the previous seven series, Phoenix was able to get at least a split when playing the two road games within Games 1-4. The only exception happened last year when they lost Games 3 and 4 to the Lakers in L.A. Does anyone remember the unbelievable sequence of events that led to the Suns losing that fourth game? They led the Lakers by FIVE POINTS with LESS THAN TEN SECONDS LEFT and got taken to overtime by a Smush three, a Nash turnover, and a Kobe jumper at the buzzer. Then in overtime, the Suns blew a three-point lead in the final minute, and finally lost the game when Kobe again hit a shot at the buzzer.

I can't bet NBA. I look at every line and think it could go either way...even after handicapping it. I haven't made any real bets this year, but my mental bets have nearly all lost.

I can't believe how many people think the Spurs are going to win it all but can't cover 3.5 points at home. The Spurs might lose but there has to be something wrong with you to rationalize Phoenix here. Motivation is not really a factor, sure Suns down 3-1 is worse than 2-2 for the Spurs but the SPurs know they are the dogs again if they lose this game, both teams are basically going to play as well as they can play.

I hope your right. I'm going to pass this game because Im a bit of a homie.

The angle is not just a must win game although that certainly assures or guards against a team coming out flat and taking the night off like Detroit did last night up 3-0.

This angle is that you have just as good of a team, maybe even a slightly better team in the Suns and you are getting a fat +150. To me thats about .20 higher than it should be. But like I said, I'm pulling for you to be right.
