You can't be serious. I fully understand why SBR would not want to have links to EOG, but taking that patronizing attitude will get you nowhere. You could simply have your techs turn the "offending" domain names into asterisks.

Matt, blame this one on me. Been operating under the assumption we didn't want links to EOG and other sites on the board, especially here in Players Talk, and that's what I told Sam. Was told a little while ago that was indeed NOT the case.

Sometimes we mess up and put news on from those sites and a few of us have done that. What the mods ought to do here is delete the link to there and then just say please don't do this again and be nice about it because it could have been a mistake. Just as long as it is not happening all of the time with that person it should not be an issue. All I ask is to be reasonable and understandable that a mistake could happen from getting information from these other sites and putting that on here and not realizing it happened.

Or they could just not give a shit if we post a link to a clearly inferior product. If anything, going there should reinforce the belief that this is a better board and site. The powers that be here should be confident enough in what they are providing to not care what we post links to.

Any other forum, any words spoken against admins/mods leads to insta-bans, regardless of whether the admin/mod was in the right or not. At SBR, the mods hold their hands up when they're wrong and are nothing short of completely understanding when we are in the wrong. Guys, don't make the mistake of under-appreciating this.
